Myotis emarginatus is a species of vesper bat that is found in the eastern Mediterranean region, ranging from Italy to Syria and Jordan. It is also known as Geoffroy’s bat or notch-eared bat. The bat is considered to be the smallest species of the genus Myotis in Europe. It has a fully furred face and chin, and brown dorsal fur. The species can be found in karst areas along the eastern Mediterranean coast.
